Welcome to Zuma Organic!

Welcome to my colorful, delicious world of food! Where my daily routine consists of cooking, teaching and always trying new and exciting ways to celebrate sitting down to meals with our families. Living at Zuma Beach in Malibu, I am surrounded by not only a beautiful ocean, but also, acres of fertile soil that produce an abundance of amazing fruits and vegetables. I am proud of my community and how so many families have hopped on the band wagon to grow their own food right in their own backyard or at least buy from our local farmer’s markets and/or co-ops!

Zuma Organic was founded when I started getting requests to teach some local moms to cook simple, healthy, delicious meals that they could prepare easily for their families. Today, it has blossomed into a tightly run small business with five products (and more coming!), a catering division, kids camps, retreats and more in store soon!

I am constantly astonished at the outpouring of encouragement I receive each and everyday from happy customers, students and clients. I love letting people know that cooking for your family does not need to be time consuming or dramatic.  It can be easy and delicious with just a few tips.

Kids Summer Cooking Classes 2012

2012 June & July Kids Cooking Classes are here!

Zuma Organic cooking classes and kids camps have definitely become one of our most favorite parts of running Zuma Organic. Whether you bring together a group of friends for a birthday, corporate event, girls night out or food club, the night is always memorable and informative. Chef Bonnie is available for many of the classes personally and we also have an array of specialty chefs, including sushi chefs, ice sculpting, dim sum and more.

Zuma Organic Kids Camps are held in Zuma Beach at various times of the year.  Chef Bonnie will also come to your backyard and host a farm inspired afternoon with a group of kids that you invite, making your experience personal and special.

We look forward to introducing our Farm Lunches & Backyard Dinners, beginning Spring of 2012, where students and guests will eat among the vegetable garden and learn about sustainable gardening, vegetarian cuisine and seasonal cooking.
